Know a bright object clearly

I try to see a bright object with my eyes. It is difficult to make out the shape, contours, marks, distinctive features of it as it is BRIGHT!

I see it again, only this time, sample it continuously...term used to observe for a fraction of a second and shut down the next. After sampling, I can see all the things I wanted to know about the bright object. My first experiment was on the light bulb in my bedroom (the milky white CFL ones). Was thoughtless while sampling and even when i am not looking at it and blinking!!good return on investment was my verdict :-)


I dont recommend myself seeing the sun directly, or by sampling method mentioned above. both seem extremely dangerous, like walking barefoot on burning charcoal for more than 20 feet(they keep it 20 feet so that the person can run fast to escape literally unhurt _ is my take on it).


Back to sampling _ or rather _ trying to know a bright object clearly. Is it already applied in nature by animals?
Is an experiment done to know the Sun better by sampling? Digital cameras have super fast shutter speed, all the better for sampling. Its the brain which finally processes the sampled images to provide clarity, automatically, need more than high shutter speed camera to look at sun.

Philosophically_
some things are so bright (persons, events, feelings, , , (blanks to be filled in future ;-) ) that its too blinding to know their greatness in totality. What kind of sampling is need to observe it wholly?
should I not bother to look beyond the brightness? or should I sample to know more about it ( since its great looking bright and all, but it may be even more amazing if I can see more detail about it) even if I find out that finer details are not so great, I can always fall back on the brightness to keep it in correct perspective.

STEALING IDEAS

When it exists already, why not steal it.
I am not waiting for the "Why nots" to flood and cloud my clear state of consciousness ready to steal something.

Stealing is an art, until caught cant be proved and when caught late, cant be sued!

I steal, when I don't have it already. Do I need it, is a secondary question. Do I get something out of it, is a tertiary question.

STEALING IDEAS

Before starting on a expedition/challenge/task My first goal is to check in this vast world, if its already done. If it is already done, drop it and chill madi.
But if I really have to get it done, I will not reinvent the wheel but steal the tyres of my neighbours car.

The procedure starts by looking around.
ex1 - To know the development lifecycle and stages within it and progressive investments needed over time and flaunting it in the market, I look at a small branch of a tree which is yet in budding stages.
Parallelly looking at a full grown branch next to this little one growing, I get the stages involved and the final product shape and size.

In its blob form, I come to know that all the leaves, some flowers, food pipes, water pipes, thorns are tucked away safely and packed compactly within it.

After a day (or week _ depending on my dumbness in choosing a fast growing plant or BONSAI) I see that the second stage has started and I can clearly see the blob opening up to show leave, flower blobs.

Day after that day, the leave blobs and flower blobs open up to the world exposing the tender leaf structure and flower packing (like a butterfly about to flex and dry its wings once in its lifetime).

Grand finale, saving best for last, flower unpacks and blooms in all its glory much to the excitement of the observer (which is me).

OUT OF THE BOX

I dont want to do anything, brand me lazy!
but the system around me doesnt let me be idle for long. Would want me to do something.

So, I shall do something. How do I go about it?

The way is the most effortless, natural method. It has a feel of free flow in it.

Today, I embark on something new, as always, as usual. So boring, if put in statements!
This has been a project which has been going on for the last ten years and has deep connection with the way I try doing things. one way is by the experience i have got _ which involves my past history and my memory , other one is by the totally new _ unprecedented, unprejudiced, absorb all, only processing .

1) Why is mechanical memory more reliable than the physical one?
or
1) Why is it more reliable to let the hand do its job while throwing a dart/stone than try to control the angle, speed, posture by brain?

2) How is mechanical memory created in the first place?

3) Is repetitive trials over a long time, singling out a method, trying it a few more times, becomes mechanical memory?

WRITE OFFS

Unfortunately, or fortunately, having interest in something always has a time line. Involves time, investment, returns, curve, lifespan, expiry date.

Stubborn i can be, self assuring i can be, self dominating i can be, being there for something all the time, but at times, i am aware, when i am licked.

Times like those, i write-off and to please myself, i call it moving on. As, the undercurrent, is still, my active life.

Its nothing but natural. Cleansing the wound, starting from scratch, resetting the system, levelling the ground, burning the forest to create fertile land.

Opportunity (knocks rarely) exploring is like an Oil rig exploration, oil can be found, or not found. but involves drilling, expert manual labour, equipment, calamity risk buffers, and most importantly TIME.
Apart from the freely available time, which i choose to spend in GOLD Colour, I incur COST.
If i travel in time, exploration of the opportunity sometimes resembles the graph above. Writing off is purely sentimental, but when drawing the graph and planting it, it comes out as the Red dots, and invariably, it occurs,

1. when my returns curve is sharper compared to Cost curve but gap between cost and returns is more than initial investment (for an extended period) (thats when i realize that i am bleeding profusely, to a point of no return).
2. when my returns curve is non exponential and cost curve is exponential. (thats where i realize that i am chasing a horned rabbit)

The competition against write-offs is my ego, stubbornness, and at times seeking refuge in the deed(may call it feeling proud or drawing inspiration out of the act).

Responsibility =>> Conviction =>> Responsibility

Its always within me. The act starts after I initiate, hence being late is wrong.
I needed, I did, I am responsible. I can choose not to be, but I know I am.

Building conviction to back responsibility and breed more action, all done by me. Doesn’t matter what I do, when I do.

Result becomes immaterial, all emphasis on the time travel and what I do during my tenure. After I leave its, GAME OVER.

Should I be a part of the vicious circle knowing fully well, I am not made for running around in circles? should I bother at all?

GOLDEN TIME

Currently, to eek out a living for a salary, i need to colour 8 hours of my 24 hours card GOLDEN.
Well, the market and universal standards of expectation is 8 hours of work and agreed upon salary.
The circuitous, rather bending the universal rule – for me if I am highly ambitious, selling more time + effort, to get a percentage higher than the norm. But that would mean I am blissfully unaware of Business’s viewpoint.

Business sees me as golden duck with expiry date, used only to extract golden eggs and nothing else. and highest priority is given to me for enabling efficient extraction (like an oil man, who squeezes the last drop from a fly, which fell in his oil can), and two of their fav methods, time tested, are increasing sal w.r.t other normal ducks, giving higher position again w.r.t other normal ducks.

This circuitous bending of the rule is very beneficial, if the duck(me in this context) thinks its only an egg laying machine OR envisages on growing into a swan, which practically owns the lake and looks gracious going about it (owning the lake in business terms, is to become promoter to the company and get preferred stock + hefty dividend + involvement in board meets + stake sale to increase size of business)
